On June 2nd 2023 the City of Leitchfield Utilities increased its wholesale water rate from $2.35 per 1000 gallon to $3.37 per 1000 gallon. Therefore, per KRS 278.015, the Grayson County Water District has had to increase it’s customers rates to reflect the increase of the wholesale rate increase from the City of Leitchfield Utilities. The increase will take the minimum bill for a residential customer from the current rate of $20.37 to $21.02. Customers can expect to see this increase on the first billing in July.
