In early 2025 the ECWD Board of Directors approached the GCWD Board of Directors with an option to purchase the territory that ECWD serviced inside of Grayson County. After negotiations, GCWD agreed to make the purchase and to begin in August of 2025 operating that portion of the ECWD system as if it belonged to GCWD with the full intent to purchase the territory after approval by the proper authorities. GCWD is currently going through that process. GCWD has decided that it is important to get some feed back from those customers about the transfer of territory in general and how the transfer of territory has been experienced by those customers thus far. Please take a few minutes to answer just a few questions and leave some detailed comments.
